The Coordinator National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, Anambra State, Mr Kehinde Aremu, has declared his confidence in the abilities of the 2021 Batch ‘A’ Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development Corps Trainees in Anambra State to excel in their chosen vocations.
Mr Aremu disclosed this during the Exhibition and Closing ceremony of Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurial Development, SAED, in-camp training held last Sunday at the Multi-purpose Hall of the Anambra Permanent Orientation Camp Umuawulu/Mbaukwu, Awka South Local Government Area.
The NYSC Chair expressed great joy at the performance of the corps members at the Exhibition of the skills learnt in less than a week. He said he would be glad if all the corps members could leave the service as entrepreneurs and not job seekers.
He said, ‘despite the perceived lowness of Nigeria economy, as an entrepreneur you can make it and you will make it, only if you build on the foundation NYSC has laid for you,’.
Earlier at the event, trainees who spoke on behalf of the respective skill areas had expressed their joy at completing the training while promising to put the lessons learnt to productive use now and in the future.
They poured encomium on the NYSC for giving them the platform to acquire skills for the benefit of themselves and others.
