Rev Fr Mathias Adugba Ashinoitian of the Catholic Diocese of Zaria has called on everyone in the world to rebuild humanity and reflect on the need for God and neighbours.
The clergy who is currently doing his Licence in Philosophy at Pontifical Urbanian University, Rome, made the call this morning, Wednesday, April, 22, during a telephone interview.
Rev Adugba noted that the world needed to stop and reflect on why God allowed the pandemic to strike.
‘Pump price is dropping drastically, crude oil has lost it’s worth, the world economy is crashing daily, hunger is the song of the day, dead bodies are countless globally because God wants us to see how helpless we can be without Him,’ Rev Adugba noted.
He said that people had placed so much trust in man made institutions and structures.
