The Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Commission, FRSC, Anambra State Command, Corps Commander Adeoye A Irelewuyi, last Thursday played host to the Commissioner for Transport, Anambra State, Bar. Patricia Ifeoma Igwebuike, in his office.
The Sector Commander welcomed the commissioner to the Command and described the visit as a sign of good working relationship with FRSC; even as he looked forward to maintaining the synergy.
He briefed the commissioner on FRSC’s duties and responsibilities on traffic management in the state and emphasized areas of collaboration between the two government bodies.
The commissioner, in her statement, said she was pleased with the warm welcome she received from the Command and disclosed that work on adjustment of things in her office was ongoing and that the challenges of FRSC, Anambra State, would be looked into when making decisions.
The permanent secretary, ministry of transport, Dr. Emma Ude-akpeh, who was also part of the visit, pleaded for a close, smooth working relationship with the agency for better results.
