. . . Hopes to Address Critical Heart Matters

An audience participatory TV Show domiciled in Anambra State, The Light TV Show, has launched a new segment of the programme tagged ‘conValsations’ an interactive forum for singles and married.
The maiden edition of the programme with the theme, ”Discovering and Nurturing True Love”, was held on Saturday, 15th February, 2020, at Don Ritz Hotels in Awka, Anambra State.
Fides gathered through the convener, Mrs. Ify Aronu-Okafor, that conVALsations would become an annual event for celebration of love and would provide a forum for discussions on matters of the heart in a bid a build better romantic relationships, especially at the time when many love relationships were fast losing steam.
In an address of welcome, the Host and Producer of ‘The Light TV Show’, Mrs. Ify Aronu-Okafor, revealed that her basic preoccupation had been to conceive and deploy contemporary approaches to youths engagement in line with the existing dynamic youth development strategy under the leadership and inspiration of Governor Willie Obiano.
Aronu-Okafor who is also the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Obiano on Broadcasting, recounted the various degrees of success which the Light TV Show had recorded within few months of its existence. She said that the N10, 000 reward system for talented youths under the Super Talent Contest and other regular giveaway systems were geared at encouraging to bring to table their creative and innovative ideas for transformation into reality. She beckoned on youths to identify with the light TV show on Social media to participate in the exciting programmes.
She maintained that conVALsations was conceived sequel to the need to provide a forum for critical discussions on matters of the heart, saying that the programme would bring back love vibes to many marriages that were losing steam.
In her words, ‘The Light TV Show birthed another baby, conVALsations, to provide a forum for critical discussions on matters of the heart. There is no better time than now to do this, seeing how many marriages that are losing steam. Young people are not immune since many are going suicidal on account of failed relationships. Rather than laying blames, we are being the solution. conVALsations seeks to elicit the deepest truths about the often confusing and mostly misunderstood concept called love. The programme hopes to demystify love and get requisite information to build lasting love relationships,’ she stated.
ConVALsations 1.0 featured the singles’ panel which tried to unravel how to discover true love while the couple’s panel identified practical ways of nurturing true love.
One of the panelists and an SSA to the governor on Youth Mobilization, Pastor Yugo Emechebe, identified shared the vision and commitment of both parties as key determinants of marital success.
For the Founder of Visionary Ladies International, PAIFY Afoenyi, wrong foundation leads to marriage and relationship failure, necessitating proper preparation, right timing and foresight at the early stage of any relationship.
For his part, the Director of Anambra State Fire Service, Engr. Martin Agbili, said there should be constant communication among couples, plus free access to each other’s phones, bank account details and other items perceived as sensitive, saying that such killed the enemy called suspicion.
The event was enlivened by a performance by the founder of Anambra State Dancers Network, Ogechi Ochiagha, musicby Goz Smart and Nelojosh, as well as comedy by MC Lagos.
Items for giveaway included two fire extinguishers courtesy of Anambra State Fire Chief, Agbili; movie treat for 10 participants at Royal Sounds Cinema; hair treatment and products from ASM Natural Hair Salon; Visionary Ladies Magazine to all participants and lots of the The Light TV Show branded items.
