Mr Kehinde Aremu, NYSC Coordinator, Anambra State, has advised corps members in Anambra to take personal responsibility for their safety and health.
Aremu gave the advice during his briefing of prospective corps members at the NYSC Permanent Secretariat Umuawulu/Mbaukwu today.
He told them that in spite of the COVID 19 pandemic, activities and schedule must not be shut down. He however cautioned them to do their part in complying with prescribed safety protocols so as to mitigate transmission from person to person.
‘Life could return to normal only if each person took personal security and health seriously.’ He said
He further charged them to be open minded and ready to learn at all times, attend all lectures and programme and keep the environment clean through proper waste disposal.
He enjoined each of them to identify committees that they can function in.
He also called on them to take seriously the Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) training, as it is a sure way to economic empowerment while encouraging them to leverage on the business opportunities that abound in Anambra State.
