The member representing Anambra West State Constituency in the Anambra House of Assembly, Honourable Patrick Obalum-Udoba, has commended the Clean, Green and Sustainable Initiative of the current administration in the state.
Honourable Obalum-Udoba made the commendation while fielding questions from newsmen in Awka.
The lawmaker, who rated Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s administration high in various sectors of the state’s economy, said that the initiative would help to make Anambra cleaner and environmentally friendly.
While saying that the clean, green and sustainable Anambra project would also help to tackle many ecological challenges facing Ndi Anambra, especially the gully erosions, Honourable Obalum-Udoba appealed to Ndi Anambra to always keep their environment clean, stop deforestation and ensure that they planted economic trees within their environment to sustain the project.
The lawmaker, who is the chairman, House Committee on Transport, also lauded Governor Soludo for the on-going construction of Mmiata Anam-Nzam Road, and expressed satisfaction with the pace and quality of work.
The Anambra West lawmaker, who doubles as member-elect for same position, appealed to Anambra youths to key into ‘the good policies and programmes of the Soludo administration for them to become self-reliant’.
