….Promises to Construct Omor-Awba Ofemili Road

The Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, has promised to construct the Omor to Awba-Ofemmili Road, assuring that it will be flagged off anytime soon.
Gov Soludo stated this congratulating the Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Right Honourable Uche Okafor, on his Forty-fifth Birthday Celebration held at his country home, Ifite Ogwari, in Ayamelum Local Government Area of Anambra State.
His words, ‘The road is important as it will link Awka with Ayamelum Local Government Area, a major agrarian area in the state.
Governor Soludo used the opportunity to thank the people of Ayamelum for the votes they gave the party in the last gubernatorial election, saying that part of his dream for the state would be to ensure massive promotion of made in Anambra products across the state and beyond.
While stating that the massive support of the constituents showed that the Speaker was properly utilizing the constituency funds, he said that Anambra was in the hands of God, praying God to perfect his plans for the state.
Speaker Okafor also used the occasion to appreciate the people of Ayamelum for their support in the last election.
His constituents were empowered with Toyota saloon cars, motorcycles, sewing machines, fumigation materials, fertilizer and cash, among others.
Speaker Okafor recalled that every of his birthday was usually celebrated in Ayamelum, pointing out that the items were procured from the constituency fund.
The Speaker urged ndi Ayamelum to keep praying for the governor to succeed in his administration.
