The Chief Shepherd of Onitsha Archdiocese His Grace Most Rev. Valerian Okeke recently charged people of God to shun life of retaliation.

The Archbishop gave the advice while delivering His Homily during one of his pastoral visits.

According to Archbishop Okeke, retaliation should be left in the hands of God who has the ultimate power to defend our course and free us from any kind of tribulation.

He stated that every battle and challenges in our lives belong to God, adding that the day we start showing mercy, God strength will be upon us.

Reflecting on the theme: “Enter school of divine mercy and enjoy the mystic transformation and divine power.” Archbishop Okeke stated that anyone who believed in Christ will have mystic transformation and the power of God will be working in that person.

“In essence, you may have no reason again to fear or be afraid of anything including your enemies,” The Archbishop stressed.
