The Executive Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano through the ministry of Youth Empowerment and Creative Economy, has trained over 750 youths across the 3 Senatorial zones in the State

The skills which the trainees were exposed to included software development/web design, cosmetology, paint production/creative painting, make-up wig making, and gele tying, phone repairs, among others.

Addressing the trainees, the commissioner for Youth Empowerment and Creative Economy, Hon. Bonaventure Enemali said the skill acquisition training would be a continuous one, noting that over 250 youths had been trained during the first phase.

Hon. Enemali appealed to the trainees to put into good use all they have learnt and use their skills to better the lot of others, saying that the major reason was to make all Anambra Youths job creators as well as make them self reliant and independent.

The Youth Commissioner commended the governor for his fatherly love and care, noting that the governor had provided the enabling environment and the needed logistics to execute the project.

‘This is Governor Willie Obiano’s way of engaging the youths meaningfully and gainfully. He has provided all that is needed to train these youths. We are grateful and thankful to our Governor. He is a kind and loving father,’ Enemali said.
