The Auxiliary Bishop of Onitsha His Lordship Most Rev. Denis Isizoh recently charged faithful to pick of their chaplets and say the rosary everyday.
The Prelate who emphasised on the benefits one can gain from saying the rosary daily, described chaplet as spiritual weapon every Christian should have at home.
The Bishop also advised faithful to read their Holy Bible daily, stating that if one can read up a chapter of Bible everyday, by the end of a full year, the person must read all the chapters in the Bible.
According to him, growing in faith can be more possible when faithful constantly, read their Bible, say the rosary, attend Sunday Masses and weekly Masses and then practice Christianity without compromising any aspect.
Meanwhile, the Auxiliary Bishop of Onitsha His Lordship Most Rev Denis Isizoh recently called on Christians especially parents to form the habit of visiting Christ in the Holy Eucharist.
The Bishop made the call while commissioning and blessing a chapel of perpetual adoration at St. Dominic Parish Uke.
According to him, it is not enough to attend only Sunday Masses without making out time once or twice in a week to visit a dedicated church or Chapel with your family members.
“In this kind of visit, you must not say long prayers but to show your face to God who is present in the Eucharist.
“You can simply move into the Church or Chapel, relax for awhile as someone who is visiting a great friend and then take your leave.
“Don’t be surprise that in time of trouble, sickness, sorrow, difficulty etc, the same God you regularly pay visits, will be there to save you, console, and heal you. He cannot abandon you,” the Prelate explained.
