…As Bishop Ezeokafor Blesses Outlet, Calls for Sustenance of Quality

Amid the pressing economy occasioned by the unforeseen coronavirus pandemic, a popular supermarket in Awka, Radopin, has commenced operations in its third branch located at Igweze Street, Kwata Junction, Awka, along Engugu-Ontisha Expressway.
The ultra-modern outlet of the supermarket was commissioned by the Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano, and blessed by the Catholic Bishop of Awka Diocese, Most Rev. Paulinus Ezeokafor, on Thursday, December 9.
Commissioning the project, Governor Obiano, who was represented by the Anambra State Head of Service, Barr. Harry Uduh, said the establishment was part of what he called the Akulue uno mantra of Gov Obiano and expressed happiness that it would provide employment opportunity to some youths of Anambra State, thereby reducing the unemployment indices and crime rate. He explained that the productive energy which people used to engage in crime was mostly redirected when they were gainfully employed.
He thanked the Chief Executive Officer of Radopin Supermarket, Mr. Ralph Azolo, for responding to the Akulue Uno call and urged Ndi Anambra in diaspora to make home-based investments for economic growth and development of the state.
He noted that the quality of the supermarket had changed the landscape of the Kwata Area and assured that the state Government would provide the needed security required by the new establishment to develop and thrive.
He said that provision of adequate security had been the number one priority of the state to enable it to continue as the first choice investment destination for all Nigerians and foreign investors.
Responding to the appeal made by the CEO of Radopin Supermarket, Barr. Uduh, expressed conviction that Gov Obiano would offer the needed help required by the outfit in curtailing flooding, saying that government would assist the outfit to stabilize.
On land allocation for development of the shopping mall, the out going Head of Service maintained that as a business minded state, modalities would be worked out to enable them to achieve their intention and expansion plans.
Blessing the establishment, Bishop Ezeokafor described the structure as superb and noted the huge resources put into its actualization. He expressed happiness that the super markets which, he said, were mostly seen in big cities now existed in Awka and noted that Gov Obiano’s Akulue Uno call was yielding positive outcome.
He expressed conviction that people could always get value for their money when they shopped at Radopin and pointed out that the supermarket, since its establishment, had maintained quality and excellence in their conduct.
Speaking to Fides, the CEO of Radopin Supermarket, Mr. Ralph Azolo, thanked God for making the commencement of the new branch possible, saying that it took them five years to start up the new branch. He disclosed that the actualization of the project was made possible through the assistance of some individuals and maintained that no one could grow independently without assistance.
He beckoned on young people to work hard, noting that nothing came easy in life and recalled that he started his super mart business in a kiosk after serving his boss for six years and doing a combined business with the boss for another five years.
Mr. Azolo identified dedication, commitment, discipline, hard work and resilience as templates that would enable young entrepreneurs and intending CEOs to excel during their training and formation period.
Contributing, the Director of Radopin, Mr. Ralph Azolo Jnr., said the journey had not been easy and disclosed that God and goodwill had sustained them over the past 35 years of its establishment.
He assured that the customers would continually purchase quality products at best prices as the company dealt directly from manufacturers.
