Public Affairs Analyst Tasks Anambra Govt, LP, on Peace for Common Interest

By Michael Nnebife

A public affairs analyst and legal practitioner, Joseph Ayanti, has advised Anambra State Government, and the Labour Party (LP), to toe the path of peace, in the interest of Nigerians supporting the LP’s presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi, for the 2023 general elections in the country.

Barr Ayanti gave the advice while featuring as a guest in a media programme in Awka, earlier in the week.

The public affairs analyst, who was reacting to the alleged removal of the LP’s campaign billboards at Unizik temp-site axis of the Onitsha-Enugu expressway, argued that “the Labour Party and the APGA are almost the same” for the former’s presidential flag bearer, Mr Obi, having governed Anambra State under the latter.

“Therefore, there is an urgent need for understanding, cordiality and peace between the Labour Party, and the Anambra State government, including all APGA members, in a spirit of brotherhood, for the overall interest of the entire Nigerians”, he said.

He noted that Mr Obi, as a son of the state, should be given preferential treatment by the government and the people of the state.

Barr Ayanti also called on the media practitioners to do more in investigative reporting so as to guide the public better in critical issues.
