. . . Says Performance Widens chances of S/E Region Producing Next President in 2023

Following the conclusion of the 2019 general elections in Nigeria, the Anambra State coordinator, Buhari/Osibanjo campaign council Senator Andy Uba, has said that his party, All Progressives Congress (APC) performed better than they did in the year 2015.
Sen. Andy who stated this at his country home, Uga, in Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State while assessing the performance of his party, APC in the entire Southeast during the 2019 presidential election said that the outing showed the party was waxing stronger in the region ahead of 2023 polls.
Sen. Andy Uba who is the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Anambra South Senatorial district for the just concluded Presidential and National Assembly elections said that the reelection of President Muhammadu Buhari to complete his second term in office had widened the chances of the south-east region, to produce the next president of Nigeria in 2023 general election.
Senator Andy Uba, who lost his reelection bid to the candidate of the Young Progressive Party, YPP, Chief Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah pointed out that at any given time he stood with President Buhari, because he had been his mentor for a very long time, noting that he had always stood by the truth in all his endeavours in life.
'We have done our best as party faithful in all ramifications including prayers to ensure our working president wins which has come to pass despite the fact that some sections of the society were against us especially Churches for just no reasons,' he said.
On the new ministerial appointment, he said the president was likely to appoint new ministers, because he holds the power and decision in the country.
When asked whether he would challenge the outcome of the election in court, he said he was yet to decide.
According to him, 'I always want God to decide for me in any circumstance.'
