The winner of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) ticket for Aguata Federal Constituency at the Sept 2 Primary Election, Hon. Chukwuma Umeoji, has received his certificate of return, ahead of the 2019 general elections.
Speaking to the press after he received his certificate of return from the National Chairman of APGA at the party's National Secretariat, Abuja on October 10, 2018, Umeoji, who was accompanied by some party stalwarts, re-affirmed his commitment to credible and purposeful representation for the good people of Aguata Federal Constituency.
He enjoined the electorate to, come the 2019 general elections, vote in worthy representatives that would champion the call for restructuring of the nation, and redress the marginalization of the south east in key administrative positions.
The APGA candidate for Aguata Federal House of Representatives in the 2019 General Election, stressed the need for voters to elect individuals who would courageously champion the actualization of devolution of powers to the state and the local government, stable support to small scale industries so as to create employment opportunities for the teeming unemployed persons of the country, as well as ensure that the greater percentage of the budget was for capital projects.
Pointing out that the general elections as usual, might be tough due to some political parties that would try to undermine the processes so that the votes would not count while some parties would on the other hand try to make the votes count, Umeoji called for caution for the good of the nation and her citizenry.
