Nwabachili, the MD of Safanaco Technical Company Ltd, Nimo, said the victory had confirmed the people's trust and confidence in the lawmaker, despite what he described as the attempt by some people to raise the issue of zoning.

This is even as he has urged the presidential nominee of the People's Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar, to choose the former governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, as his running mate.

Speaking on the re-election of Ibida, Nwabachili said politics was about power being taken, rather than being given, noting that what mattered was one's pedigree and achievements.

'If there is zoning, why are other positions like Senate and House of Reps not zoned? Anyone who is doing well and is accepted by his people can keep representing them,' he said.

He thanked the APGA delegates for returning Ibida who he described as a good choice for the people of Njikoka 11.

He however called on Ibida and his colleagues in the state assembly to get the governor to complete all ongoing road projects, especially the Abagana-Oye Agu-Nimo Road, noting that doing that would boost the party's chances in the general elections.

On the PDP presidential primary election, the industrialist hailed the peaceful and transparent conduct of it, noting that it had become a template for future primaries.

He however urged the winner of the primary election, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, to pick his running mate from the South East, even as he particularly requested that Peter Obi be chosen due to what he described as Obi's credible personality and pedigree. He said that with someone like Obi, Atiku would do well in government.

Ozo Francis Nwabachili : A chieftain of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, in Nimo, Njikoka LGA of Anambra State, Ozo Francis Nwabachili, has congratulated the member representing Njikoka 11 State Constituency in the Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon Sir Pete Ibida, on his victory in the primary election of his party, APGA.
