A frontline aspirant for Aguata Federal Constituency and the CEO of JOCARO GROUP, Engr Dom Okafor, has expressed joy at the visit of Anambra's First Lady, Chief Mrs Ebelechukwu Obiano, to Aguata Local Government Area last Wednesday in continuation of her tour of local government areas across Anambra state to reach out to the less privileged.
In a press release from his office at Igboukwu, Rtn Engr Dom Okafor praised the efforts of Mrs Obiano in providing succour to the downtrodden, widows and the invalid.
'I really appreciate the First Lady for her magnanimity and reaching out to those who cannot help themselves, thus giving hope to the hopeless. This is why I appreciate her setting up of the CAFE that has provided all kinds of empowerment to widows and other less privileged, as well as establishing Social Welfare Homes at Nteje, Oyi Local Government Area.
'I spent my birthday with the inmates during the Easter period when I celebrated my 51st bBirthday. What I saw at Nteje really excited me and I did my best to encourage those inmates which gave me special joy,' Okafor reflected.
He used the opportunity to call on the people of Aguata, and indeed Ndi Anambra to continue to show support and solidarity to Mrs Obiano and her husband.
