Emeneka Takes 3rd Phase of Free Medical Outreach

Umuoba Anam Community, Anambra East Council Area, was agog over the weekend as the member representing Anambra East Constituency in the State Assembly,
Honourable Obinna Emeneka, rendered free medical services to the people of the area.
The exercise which was the Third Phase of Hon. Emeneka's Free Medical Outreach Programme, took place at St. Augustine's Catholic Church and attracted the people of the community and environs, government officials, among others.
Speaking during the exercise, Hon. Emeneka who came with a comprehensive team of medical personnel, which included medical doctors from Nigeria, Ukraine and Hungary, pharmacists, laboratory technicians and nurses, said that what he was doing was in line with his campaign manifesto of ensuring adequate health for his constituents.
The Lawmaker who pointed out that the free medical services which he initiated over seven years ago was aimed at helping indigent members of his constituents to access medical services, revealed that the exercise had been done in Umueri and Nsugbe communities, even as he pointed out that it would cut across all the communities in the constituency.
He noted that they had forms for referrals which patients would use to access medical services free of charge after the exercise and commended Umuoba people for their unalloyed support to him.
The APGA ward leader, Umuoba Anam, who is also the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Protocol, Chief. Mrs. Ngozi Ossy-Okeke Agbata, described Hon. Emeneka as a quintessential legislator that truly understood the business of legislation, as well as touching the lives of his people positively. She prayed God to bless him.
According to the traditional ruler of the community, Igwe Sir George Obalim-Ekwealor, Hon. Emeneka had done well for the community in both human and infrastructural development, job opportunities, among other numerous things. He assured Emeneka of the support of the community.
Some of the beneficiaries, Mrs. Christiana Okoye and Comrade Benedict Ugbagu, thanked the lawmaker for bringing the free medical exercise to their doorstep and prayed that God would continue to bless him.
Hon. Emeneka and his medical team had upon arrival at the community paid a courtesy visit to the traditional ruler of Umuoba Anam, Igwe Sir Ekwealor.
