A Catholic priest and staff of Rosa Mystica High School Agulu Anambra State, Rev Fr Casmir Osigwe, has charged new functionaries of the school, to discharge their duties without fear or favour. The priest said this on the occasion of the investiture of the student functionaries during their investiture Mass at the school chapel on February 14, 2019.

Fr Casmir told the functionaries to emulate St Valentine whose feast fell on the day in his exemplary love to humanity in difficult times. He urged them to act within the confines of their offices and not bully students. “Nobody is above the law including you functionaries. Do what is necessary and expected of you. Insult nobody. Earn your respect from students especially the junior ones” he said. He finally asked the other students to give the functionaries room to discharge their duties with less stress.

In his remarks, the Manager of the School, Rev Fr Rowland-Victor Okoli thanked Fr Casmir for his admonitions and wished the new functionaries well. He appreciated the staff and students of the school for always upholding the tone of the school.

The new functionaries were later invested with their new duty jackets, followed by prayers for their success.
