An aspirant to the State House of Assembly seat of Orumba South Constituency under APGA, Hon Stanislaus Nnaka has charged Young Catholic Students (YCS) to be so good wherever they find themselves so that their impact be felt even in their absence.

Hon Nnaka, represented by his wife, Chizoba, said this to YCSers at Nimo, while giving them a lecture on leadership at the YCS Convention July 24, 2018. Nnaka emphasized that good leadership and learning are intertwined. Therefore, any student that aims to lead well must be grounded in learning. She however admonished secondary students to be focused more at this stage in doing well in their studies and coming out well, than aspiring for political positions which will come later.

“Leadership is about making others better as a result of your presence and making sure that the impact lasts even in your absence. The growth and development of people is the highest calling in leadership. Don't follow the crowd, rather, let the crowd follow you. Innovation distinguishes between a leader and a follower” Nnaka advised.
