After six long years of their marriage, the family of Mr and Mrs Chukwuanu Okagbue joyously welcomed a set of triplets which they have described as God’s greatest gift to them. The triplets were born on the day of the last gubernatorial election in Anambra State, November 6, last year.
And last Sunday, March 6, the grateful family attended a thanksgiving Mass at which was graced by professional colleagues, friends and well wishers.
Speaking with Fides after the Mass on the significance of the date of birth of their babies, Okagbue, the image maker of Anambra State Polytechnic, ANSPOLY, Mgbakwu, said they had added joy that the babies arrived on the day of the governorship election in Anambr State which produced their candidate, Prof Chukwuma Soludo, for whom he was the coordinator for Soludo Academics, ANSPOLY, Mgbakwu Chapter.
‘After many miscarriages spanning over the six years we have been married, our bundles of joy finally arrived on November 6, 2021,
the day His Excellency, Prof Charles Soludo won as Governor-elect,’ Okagbue gushed.
Later in his Facebook handle, Okagbue had said, ‘With joy we appreciate you for being there for us and for your good prayers, financial and moral support, physical presence, and as well as being with us in spirit as the divine triplets went to Church and were welcomed to the Household of God yesterday, Sunday, 6th March, 2022, exactly on their 4 months’ birthday. Please still join us to wish them a happy 4 Months’ birthday and pray for them always. God, continue to grow and nurture you, Our Divine Triplets. Amen. We shall continue to celebrate each other, and with each other.’
The names of the triplets, according to Okagbue, are Chukwunonso Kaitochukwu Okagbue-Chukwuanu (Girl); Chukwudum Kosisochukwu Okagbue-Chukwuanu (Girl) and Chukwuanu Kamsiyochukwu Okagbue-Chukwuanu (Boy).
