… Anticipate Better Collaboration Between Executive, Legislature

The Anambra State Chairman of Igbo Socio-Cultural Organization Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Prince Emeka Udodeme, the National President of Anambra State Association of Town Unions, ASATU, Barr. Titus Akpudo, the Transition Committee Chairman of Anaocha Council Area, Ozo Gerald Ikechukwu, the Commissioner for Environment Anambra State, Engr. Dr Felix Odimegwu and the Managing Director and Chief Supritendent of Operation Clean and Healthy Anambra (OCHA Brigade), Comrade Celestine Anere, have congratulated the newly inaugurated Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly, Right Honourable Somtochukwu Udeze (Nnabuenyi), describing his emergence as a welcome development.
According to them, the election and the inauguration of the new Speaker would serve as a catalyst for sustainable legislative agenda geared towards actualizing a liveable and prosperous homeland.
They expressed the hope that with the new Speaker and members of the eight Assembly there would be people’s oriented motions and Bills, saying that they expect nothing but better collaboration between the Executive and the legislature.
‘Ndi Anambra are actually looking forward to a robust and life-enhancing Bills and motions. Expectations are really high for the members of Eighth Assembly. We wish them well. Congratulations to Mr Speaker and his colleagues. We anticipate a peaceful House that will work hand in hand with the Executive.
