. . . As Apostle David Zoe Cautions Christians
By Odogwu Emeka Odogwu
Several Priests of God led by an Apostle of God, Bishop Dr David Zoe of Zoe Ministries Worldwide, and an Anglican Priest, Reverend Innocent Okpara, of the Diocese on the Niger, Onitsha, last weekend, dedicated the altar of Citadel of Fresh Rain Ministries, Awka for worship. The ministry's Spiritual Director is Evangelist Dr Godsent Ugo Obijuru.
Other priests who witnessed the dedication of the Citadel of Fresh Rain altar were Rev Canon Ikechukwu Obiozor from Nsukka Diocese; Rev Chibuzo Chinyeaka of St Peter's Mgbakwu; Rev Ik Paul Anikpe of St John's Umueri, and Reverend Canon Sylvanus Onyeachulam from Umueri; as well as Reverend Innocent Okpara of Niger Diocese.
Others were Reverend Canon Ferdinand Okoye of Church of Resurrection, IfiteAwka; Reverend Emmanuel Obiudo and wife; Pastor Onyebuchi Samuel N; Pastor Ibezim; Pastor Godwin Eze from Asaba;and Evangelist Dr Collins Nwagbo.
In his ministration, Bishop Dr Zoe who returned from an overseas programme before heading to Awka for the Citadel of Fresh Rain programme, reminded Christians that God created them to have dominion over His creation in the environment.
He said God asked Adam to function in His reign noting that Christians lived in a world in which women were convinced by what they heard and men; with what they saw. He said by that token, women were structured to believe lies; hence, Eve was deceived by Satan by mere lies and Eve in return convinced Adam when he saw her eating the forbidden fruit without dying.
Bishop Zoe urged women who always listened to men telling them that God sent them to them for marriage to see such as lies from the pit of hell.
Bishop Zoe pointed out that couples should engage in courtship to know themselves better but it should not be a license to engage in illicit sex. He said anyone who married a wrong wife had been settled already by devil.
He lamented that some children of God were empty spiritually, and said pastors without power were just comedians in the house of God. He lamented further that there were many anomalies in the Church of God, with some men of God indulging their members to avoid losing their favour, rather than preach the word of God undiluted. He prayed for God's blessings
In his remarks, Evangelist Dr Godsent Ugo Obijuru, an international evangelist whose ministry was opened, reminded Christians that there was now a Divine grace in the Citadel of Fresh Rain Ministry with the dedication of the altar, and assured that anyone who came to the altar would have his problems resolved by God.
Citadel of Fresh Rain is a non-denominational ministry for all lovers of Jesus Christ and His ministry on Earth regardless of their religious inclinations and affiliations.
Evangelist Dr Godsent has served the Anglican Church for over two decades before he decided to open his ministry for greater services to the people of Awka.
Dedication of the altar was part of activities to mark the 6th day of Divine Encounter of the Citadel of Fresh Rain Ministry at its headquarters in Amaenyi, Awka.
The 6-day programme started on Tuesday, November 26th and wound up on Sunday, December 1st.
The theme of the 6-day of Divine Encounter was, "Come let us raise a genuine altar", and it featured Chioma Egwuoyoko as guest artiste; Sis Oge Nweke, aka Phone Akuwakwala; and Alvin J; while Evangelist Nnamdi Williams ministered.
