Obiano’s Magic Won’t Work in 2019 in Anambra – Offor

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has declared its readiness to sweep all elective positions in Anambra State in 2019.

The Minority Leader of Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon Onyebuchi Offor, stated this to journalists during a chat in his country home, Oraifite, shortly after he presented a cheque of N1.05million to the management of Oraifite Boys’ Secondary School, for the registration of 60 students for the West African Examinations Council, WAEC.

Offor told journalists that the much touted magic wand of the Anambra State governor, Chief Willie Obiano, which, he said, had put APGA up as the party to beat in the state, would be broken.

He said PDP and its members were responsible for the feat the governor enjoyed in 2017, which saw him winning all the 21 local government areas of the state.

‘Forget that 21 over 21 local government victory of the governor in 2017, we made it happen, and now we are telling you that APGA cannot enjoy the same popularity again,’ Offor said.

The lawmaker had earlier handed the cheque to Mr. Samuel Amizu, acting principal of Oraifite Boys’ Secondary School, pledging his commitment to helping indigent children of the area to acquire education.

Hon. Offor, who is representing Ekwusigo Constituency in the State Assembly, said the money was to alleviate the problems faced by parents in offsetting their wards’ WAEC registration fees.

He warned the students of the school to desist from cult activities, smoking, hard drugs and illicit substances, such as Indian hemp, Tramadol, and other dangerous drugs.
