Nigerians have been asked not to lose hope as the presidential candidate of Labour Party, LP, Peter Obi, gets set to reclaim his mandate through the courts. The LP House of Assembly candidate for Anaocha 2 State Constituency in the last elections, Comrade Osita Kingsley Ozalagba, who spoke with Fides in Awka, said Obi’s known doggedness in fighting for his mandate should give hope to Nigerians.
Ozalagba who used the opportunity to wish his constituents a happy Easter Celebration, said only a person with the character of Obi could restore the hope to the country in this period of hopelessness.
The former youth leader decried what he described as the wanton manner the 2023 Elections were rigged and said if such was allowed to stand, then Nigerians should not hope for any miracle, as, according to him, rogues would be presiding over the affairs of the country.
He therefore urged Nigerians to remain prayerful and entrust Obi’s quest to reclaim his mandate in the hands of God.
He said no matter how difficult or hopeless things were, there came a time when God intervened to save his people and said that all indications pointed to God coming to the aid of Nigerians now through Obi.
Ozalagba, who described Obi as a man ahead of his time and whom God had chosen to occasionally set things right in his environment, urged Nigerians to continue to support Labour Party as it was a party different from others that, according to him, had all contributed to keep Nigeria down.
He urged his constituents of Anaocha 2 to use the Easter period to show love and compassion to others so that they would use the death and resurrection of Christ to renew their lives and become new creatures in God.
‘To the beautiful people of Anaocha Constituency II, may the triumph of our Lord Jesus Christ bring prosperity to us and our beautiful families. I love you, my people, Ozalagba said.
