The Director General of Hon. Romanus Ugochukwu Obi Campaign Organization, Mr. Elochukwu Igbanugo, has described Hon. Romanus Obi as the most qualified candidate that will offer effective representation to the people of Orumba North and South Federal Constituency in the Federal House when elected.

Igbanugo who is the Special Assistant to Governor Willie Obiano on Chieftaincy Matters, explained that Hon. Obi, contesting on the platform of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and a House of Assembly member representing Orumba North, was the best choice for the people of the area.

He noted that the best choice which Obi represented, was because of his achievements. He maintained that the representation of Orumba North by Obi in the State House of Assembly had brought visible transformation of the area.

He therefore called on delegates to assess the past achievements and blueprints of other contenders before voting in the primaries to prevent a huge political mistake that would take the people of the area backwards. He argued that aspirants whose past performances had not effectively affected the people of the area should be ignored.

He said that Obi’s achievements were enough to show the people what he could still do for them when given a higher position to perform. He argued that people who represented well should be given another opportunity for the dividends of democracy to penetrate the entire area.

He described Obi as a grassroots person bent on attracting projects that would bring effective transformation to the lives of the people because he knew the need of his constituents.

He revealed that APGA had not won any federal seat in Orumba North & South Constituency, noting that the present political period was a time for APGA to win the seat by fielding credible candidates.

He noted that any move to thwart the popular choice of the people would cause APGA the opportunity of emerging victorious in the 2019 election in Orumba Federal Constituency, saying that everyone would be happy to vote for Romanus following his antecedents in the house.

He said that the delegates who would vote in the primaries knew that Obi remained the best of all the contenders.
