The Presidential candidate of the Labour Party Mr. Peter Obi had apologized to the traditional rulers and people of Delta State for his inability to see them at Olomu, Oleh and Agbor.

He explained that the action was not deliberate but due to the mammoth crowd and time constraints.

Our correspondent understands that the Monday visit was supposed to cover the three senatorial districts.

The Labour Party standard bearer through his verified Twitter account promised to repeat the visit to see his numerous supporters and admirers.

Mr. Obi tweeted thus: ‘I sincerely want to apologise to the traditional rulers and the people of Delta Central, who gathered at Olomu, the people of Isoko who I was supposed to meet at Oleh and the people of Agbor who came out in their numbers to welcome me to their domains.

‘However, it became impossible to carry out the visits following the mammoth crowd. I apologise and promise to repeat the visits.’
