The boys went unbeaten to win the cup after beating Japan 3 :1
The boys played all their games without losing any, as they started their campaign trashing Singapore 3:0, and beating Japan 1:0, while they cleaned out Argentina with 4 goals.
Mexico gave them a good fight in the semifinals while the Nigerian boys maintained their unbeaten trail with 2:2 draw, before they met Japan again in the finals and beat them 3:1
Victor Omale won the golden booth award with six goals while Abdulgaffar Abubakar won the golden glove award conceding only 3goals. Victor Orakpo won the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the tournament. Victor Orakpo will be in the FC Bayern World Squad for 2023.
About eight player from the Champions Nigeria, made it to the team of the tournament and will take on FC Bayern U-15 after which they moved to Allianz Arena to watch FC Bayern Munich against Freiburg FC in the German Bundesliga on Sunday 16th October 2022.
