. . . As Nwoye Mobilizes Youths
In his bid to garner enough votes in the Southeast Geopolitical Zone, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), President Mohammadu Buhari, has scheduled to visit Onitsha, the commercial city of Anambra State on Thursday, 24th January, 2019.
The President would be received by the Anambra State Chairman of APC, Chief Basil Ejidike; Campaign Coordinator in Anambra State, Senator Andy Uba; the National Youth Coordinator of the Campaign Train, Hon. Tony Nwoye, Anambra North Senatorial candidate for the 2019 election, Sen. Margery Okadigbo and other staunch members of the party.
The Southeast Zonal Coordinator of the Campaign, Barrister Sharon Ikeazor who made this known during the inauguration of the state council members, said they were set to receive the President, noting that the president had supported the state, assuring that the committee would work assiduously to deliver on their mandate.
The Acting Chairman of the party in the state, Chief Basil Ejidike who commended the party members for their level of comportment during the inauguration, saying that the state chapter under his wash were prepared to receive the President for the presidential campaign tagged ‘Next Level’, commissioning of Zik's Mausoleum and the inspection of the ongoing second Niger Bridge.
'So we the campaign council members in the state are set to receive the president with unprecedented crown on Thursday,' he said.
Also speaking, the State Cordinator, Senator Andy Uba said he had commenced grassroots campaign with the inauguration of the presidential campaign council in the state in order to meet up with the remaining days.
He assured that all nooks and crannies of the state would be well-covered and also mobilized people that would vote for the president and all APC's candidates in the forthcoming general elections, adding that they would deliver the president in Anambra State.
Senator Uba noted that the major point of the campaign for the president in Anambra state was the fact that the president had shown tremendous interest and support for the development of not only Anambra but the entire south east states.
He called on the people of the state to come out en-masse to welcome the president and avail themselves of the opportunity of learning how President Buhari intended to take Nigeria to the next level.
In a related development, the National Youth Coordinator President Muhammadu Buhari Campaign Organization and member representing Anambra East and West Federal Constituency, Hon. Tony Nwoye assured the president and his party of 100% mobilization of Youths across the nation, noting that they would leave no stone unturned. Hon. Nwoye who stated this while addressing youth leaders in the state at his Campaign Office in Awka enjoined the youth to vote massively for the president. The lawmaker noted that many youths would be on ground to receive the president on Thursday, 24th January, 2019.
