The All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), Candidate for Aguata Federal Constituency Seat in the 2019 Federal Representatives Election, Hon Chukwuma Umeoji, has reassured his readiness to give the Aguata Federal Constituents quality and service-orientated representation in the lower chamber of the national assembly.

Hon Umeoji, who spoke at the 2019 Annual Catholic Diocese of Awka Priests' New Year Get-together held at the diocesan-owned Peter University, Onneh, Orumba South L.G.A, Anambra State on January 9, 2019, said he would work with the senator representing Anambra Central, Senator Victor Umeh, OFR, KSS, who he described as voice of the East in defense of the Igbos.

Pointing out that a political party also play important role in the formation of its candidates, Umeoji who served creditably well as a former chairman of Aguata LG Council, observed that Senator Umeh had consistently fought for the just course of the Igbos, because of the APGA ideology which he (Umeh) believed in.

According to Umeoji, Senator Victor Umeh, OFR, who is currently representing Anambra Central Senatorial District under the platform of APGA, and seeks re-election for a 2nd tenure, had in line with APGA ideology, been committed to the defense of Igbos.

The aspiring legislator, who donated in support of the Peter University project, noted that his mission was to with humility, integrity and commitment, give the people Aguata Federal Constituency purposeful representation.
