Philanthropist Proposes N1, 000, 000 for Atiku/Obi Football Tournament

The CEO Legacy Oil and Gas limited, Chief Okey Ezeibe, has proposed One Million Naira for football tournament for the Youths of Awgbu Community, in Orumba North Local Government Area, in Anambra State.

The football tournament which took off on 25th December, 2018 and ended on 1st January, 2019, tooks place at various football fields in Awgbu and was participated by the five villages of Awgbu Community: Ugwu, Osikwe, Abornato, Mbuluko, Ozulumba and Amaugo.

Chief Ezeibe who was applauded by many for his humanitarian love for the youths, said his concern was to create avenues for youth's empowerment and renovation in Society.

He further advised the youths to try getting their PVC ready for upcoming election in other to come out en mass and cast their votes to elect in Atiku/Obi as the next Nigeria President and Vice President respectively; as they will help to reduce poverty and create job opportunities in the country.

The tournament ended successfully, as Abornato Village took the first position; Mbuluko Village the second position; followed by Ozulumba and Amaugo that took the third position and went home with their cash prizes. Also, Master Chinedu Ezuh and Master Uchenna Ezeagu who emerged as the Best Goal Schorar and Most valuable football player of the tournament respecively, were presented with cash prizes.

Speaking on the event, Mr. Emenike Nwonta who was among the coach for the Football Tournament, expressed his gratitude to Chief Okey Ezeibe for his love for mankind and for believing in the youths and pledged that the Youths of Awgbu Community will try their possible best to make sure that Atiku/Obi take the lead in forth coming Presidential election.

Highlight of the event include; Atiku/Obi Masquerade display by the Youths of Awgbu Community, presentation of winners' cup etc.
