A political Aspirant for Orumba North and South in the House of Representatives, Chief Okwudili Ezenwankwo, on Thursday, 13th December 2018, was conferred an award of merit by the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Anambra State chapter.
The award was given to him during the 2018 Anambra Youth Stakeholder Political Summit, Inauguration of NYCN Local Government Executive and Merit Award, at Emmaus House Complex, Awka, Anambra State.
Chief, Okwudili Ezenwankwo, who is also the Chairman and CEO of Facemore Oil and Gas Limited, got the award alongside Senatorial Aspirants on the PDP platform, Hon. Uche Ekwunife; Prince Charles Okoye, Comr. Emma Ezeokafor, Hon. Barr. Ikenna Ezeibenne as well as Chief Emmanuel Nweke.
Speaking to Fides, Chief Okwudili Ezenwankwo represented by Comr. Ositadmma Onyema expressed gratitude to God and thanked the leadership of NYCN Anambra State, for the privilege and for their relentless effort in ensuring full participation of youths in the politics of the day.
He assured the Youth Council of his continuous support and available presence whenever a call on him was made, and promised to make sure that the Youths benefit fully in political offices.
Chief Ezenwankwo, furthermore advised that youths should shun all form of political thuggery and use their Permanent Voters' Card wisely so as to elect leaders that will propel the cause of Nigerian youths.
Highpoints of the events includes the inauguration of NYCN Local Government Executive, interactive discourse on the Role of Youths in the political sphere of Nigeria among others.
