A 19 year old man, Sunday Onwe, was last Thursday found with fresh human parts in Awka.
Onwe, who hails from Ezza Mgbo in Ohaukwu Local Government Area, Ebonyi State, said he brought the human parts, such as fresh fingers, a gallon of blood of a child and others for money ritual as he was instructed by a woman, Blessing Eze also from Mgbo.
His words, 'I have a provision store in my community but the business began to crumble to the extent that I couldn't handle the rents and I resorted to the use of a wheelbarrow to sell my wares.
'I knew Blessing after I accompanied a friend, Elom Osinachi, to visit her some time ago. There at the meeting, they were discussing how to make charms for riches. That got my interest and I asked if I could partake of the act.
'Blessing brought me to Awka to see Madam (referring to Dr. Flora Ilonzo). I just sat at the reception while she went on my behalf inside to see the madam. I gave her a sum of N50, 000 as initial deposit for the charm as according to her (Blessing), it was money needed to start the process.
'After she came out, she told me that madam said I would need to provide baby parts with an ultimatum that it must be ready in three days' time.'
He revealed that he went back to his town and planned his way to carry out the act with one Emeka (surname not revealed to us).
'My friend and I, Emeka, attacked two boys as they came to fetch water at a popular borehole in Ekwashi Town. We rushed the younger one who should be about four years old while the elderly one ran away.
'Then we took him to a nearby bush and killed him with a cutlass at Mgbo town.
Reacting to the incident, the founder of Centre for Psychic and (CPHA), Dr. Mrs. Flora Nkemakonam Ilonzo, attributed the incident to the handiwork of enemies who aimed at tarnishing her good image.
Ilonzo, who explained that one Blessing Eze, came to her centre on Monday claiming that she was suffering from fibroid and some drugs were prescribed for her. Said she was from Ifite Awka.
She however said the woman did not buy the said drug but rather left the centre.
She asked the police to investigate the matter to bring justice to the child killed and punish the culprits accordingly.
'I was in my office when one of my staff called to inform me that a man came into the centre with human parts. The staff told me the man said he was told to bring the human parts for me to make money ritual for him.
'I raised an alarm and he was caught and hand cuffed by my staff as he tried running away. That was why I called the police and the media to come and see by themselves,' she added.
Efforts made to get police at time of filing this report proved abortive.
