The All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, standard bearer for the 2019 Idemili North House of Assembly Election, Honourable Chiekwu Ifeanyi Arthur (Money Man) last Sunday at St. Theresa's Catholic Church, Umuoji, in Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State bagged a Meritorious Service Award for his numerous humanitarian contributions in the Parish and beyond.
Presenting the award, the Parish Priest of St. Theresa's Catholic Church, Umuoji, Rev. Fr. Gerald Efobi, described the recipient as a devout Christian who, according to him, had contributed immensely towards the development of of the Parish. Rev. Fr. Efobi expressed gratitude to God for the gift of Hon. Chiekwu, noting that Chiekwu's love for the things of God could not be quantified.
Rev. Fr. Efobi while eulogizing Chiekwu assured him of his maximum support, emphasizing that he (Fr. Efobi) would continue to preach his message of magnanimity and selfless service to God and humanity to all and sundry, even as he called on his parishioners to support Hon. Chiekwu's House of Assembly bid.
Rev. Fr Efobi stated that Hon. Chiekwu's kind disposition would not go unrewarded, saying that he was convinced that he (Chiekwu) would offer quality and effective representation.
Responding, Hon. Chiekwu thanked the Parish Priest, Catholic Men's Organization, St. Theresa's Parish for the recognition, assuring that the award would spur him on do greater exploits.
Chiekwu urged all those present to vote massively for all the APGA's candidates in the forthcoming general elections.
Presentation of award, investiture of grand patrons, patronesses, celebration octogenarians and launching of CMO's sacramental shop formed the highpoints of the occasion.
