....Says He's Not Ukachukwu's Campaign DG
....Threatens Legal Action

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Anambra State Signage and Advertisement Agency, ANSAA, Chief Jude Emecheta, has urged the general public to disregard today's Sun Newspaper's report where he was quoted and addressed as the Director General of Chief Nicholas Ukachukwu's Campaign Organization, even as he denied ever speaking with any Sun Newspaper's correspondent.
Reacting immediately the news filtered in, the visibly angry ANSAA boss wondered why someone would drag his name into such a sensitive matter even to the point of quoting him, noting that he would leave no stone unturned until justice was done to him, adding that he would never allow anyone to ruin his hard earned reputation.
'My attention was drawn to the Southeast News page of today's Sun Newspaper where I was quoted to have reacted on the forthcoming All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) primary. This is not true. I never granted any interview to anybody. I don't have anything against Ukachukwu's aspirations, I am not his DG nor did I speak with any reporter not to talk of Sun Newspapers.
'Correspondent who reported the story has my number and could have crosschecked his story before publishing. I'm really disappointed.
'I will deal decisively with anyone who tries to mess with my name. I demand an unreserved apology from the Sun Publishing Company. Let me say it here again, I am not the Director General Ukachukwu's Campaign Organization and I never spoke to any reporter or correspondent. I am still wondering where he got that from? Are they trying to pit me against my people or are they trying to tarnish my image? Why would they use my name for such an expensive joke?
'Once I wait for the rebuttal and I didn't see it, I will proceed to court of competent jurisdiction to seek redress. I am going to take a legal action once nothing is done to correct this anomaly. I am not going to take it lightly. No one will mess with my name and go scot-free. I will not allow that.
This report is misleading and damaging. It is capable of ruffling some feathers. Let the correspondent come and tell me where and when did I grant him such interview. Sun Newspaper must produce whoever that wrote this report,' Emecheta threatened.
