The former Coordinator of NYSC Anambra State, Yetunde Baderinwa has described her stewardship in Anambra State as a pleasant experience she cannot easily forget.
Baderinwa who until recently, was in-charge of the Anambra State Secretariat, spoke during a valedictory session organized in her honour today at the NYSC Secretariat expressed satisfaction with the staff of Anambra Secretariat.
The new Lagos State Coordinator who used the opportunity to recount her experience in the State told the gathering ‘I couldn’t have gone out without speaking to you. I enjoyed working with you’
While recounting her experience serving in Anambra during the election, Baderinwa said the period of the Poll was so scary but she was happy no harm came to any Corps member.
She advised the staff to continue to work hard and to pay attention to every minute details. ” Don’t joke with Corps Welfare’. Said She.
Many of the staff used the occasion to pour encomiums on the Outgoing Coordinator.
According to Comrade Emmanuel Njaka, Baderinwa was one Coordinator most of the staff enjoy working with. In his own words. ‘Ma, you really touched our heart. Thank you for your kindness. You are good to us. ‘ he said.
While also speaking, Mr Ezeobia Onyekachi praised her unique administrative style which he said resulted in high productivity without the use of sticks. ‘How you handled things administratively here yielded results.’
According to Mrs Ngozi Okeke-ekpe – she does not discriminate. Carries everybody along . She also sang emotion stirring farewell song titled … Wherever you go adieu.
Celestine Mokwenye described Mrs Baderinwa as an emotionally intelligent person.
Sam Oga in his remarks praised Mrs Baderinwa’s unmatched calmness. He said, even under pressure, she will always be herself.
While delivering a Vote of thanks, Ikechukwu okoro expressed gratitude to her and prayed that her movement to Lagos will usher in greater attainment for her.
