She disclosed that the mothers through the celebration, raised funds which would be used to support the efforts that had been made by the men in the building of the church, noting that women basically work to support their male flocks. She called on the women to always bear in mind that they are mothers and to emulate the Blessed Virgin Mary, saying that they can only succeed in all their endeavour through her help and intercession.

Re-dedicating members of the CWO, Rev. Fr. Hillary Anaelom explained that re-dedication of the women would assist them to reconnect more to the Blessed Virgin Mary, the mother of all mothers. He noted that such connection would help them to live out their calling as mothers.

Earlier in his homily, Fr. Anaelom noted that the church, during the mothers’ celebration, presents mothers, the model of Christian existence without whom human existence cannot be complete. He tasked the women to always represent Christ in all they do and shine forth the light in them. He pinpointed the sacrifices which women make in their various homes and beckoned on the husbands to render the needed help required by their wives.
