Mother Theresa Described as a Great Leader at CMO Leadership Training, Amawbia

By Uchechukwu Enem

Mother Theresa was described as a great leader during the Catholic Men Organization (CMO) ongoing Leadership Training at St. Matthew Amawbia, on 23rd September 2019.

The leadership training opened with a summary of the traits of a good leader. The other aspect of the leadership training was an exposé of the leadership style of King Solomon and Mother Theresa and its effect on the society

The trainer & CMO Chaplain, Rev. Fr. Jerome Okafor, said that when a man lacks leadership strategy, the world around him shatters. He added that such attitude affects the children and the family. He gave an illustration of a man who sleeps outside and a woman who gradually becomes the head of the family because of the incapability of her husband.

Contributing to the training, Bro. Malife Uchenna Ignatius from St. Mary’s Parish, Ifitedunu, encouraged men to persevere and maintain their integrity in all they do. He added that through prayers, a man could remain focused in his life purposes.

Also speaking, Francis Anisiobi from St. Michael’s Parish, Nawgu, Ifitedunu Deanery, said that King Solomon was the wisest man in the whole world but became the most foolish man at the end of his journey. He suggested that every Knight of the church should be an active member of CMO either at his parish or at the deanery level.
