Mmegbuanaeze Visits Ogidi Fire Victim, Renders Financial Assistance

The Member representing Idemili North State Constituency in the State House of Assembly, Honourable (Mrs.) Nkoli Mmegbuanaeze, recently paid a sympathetic visit to a widow, Mrs Rosemary Nnaama whose four bedroom apartment was gutted by fire.

Hon. Mmegbuanaeze who commiserated with Mrs. Nnaama when she visited her at her matrimonial home in Ogidi, in Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State described the ugly incident as pathetic and heart-rending.

The visibly touched Mrs. Mmegbuanaeze while commiserating with the victim presented substantial amount to the widow, promising that she would appeal to the Executive Arm of Government to come to her aid.

She commended the Anambra State Fire Service for putting off the fire incident immediately they received the news which could have claimed lives.

She also applauded Governor Willie Obiano for providing the state Fire Service with the needed logistics and equipments required to respond to emergency situations.

Responding, the victim of the fire incident, Mrs Nnaama thanked the lawmaker for given her à sense of belonging, stressing that she had heaved a sigh of relief with her words of consolation and monetary assistance.

She told Mrs. Mmegbuanaeze that the fire incident which cause had not been figured out destroyed her sewing machine, refrigerator, furniture, television, generating sets, among others.
