Live Up To Expectation, New ASLGSC Boss Charges LG Workers

The new Chairman, Anambra State Local Government Service Commission, Awka, Chief Vin Ifeanyi Ezeaka, has emphasized the determination of the new board to enhance effective service delivery and improved productivity in the local government system through its transformation agenda.

The new board chairman disclosed this while addressing the entire staff members of the Local Government Service Commission at the Commission’s hall at Government House, Awka.

Chief Ezeaku, who noted that the new board members came to restore the past glory of the local government system and boost performance, also called for total cooperation of the Commission Staff with the board in acheiving  their set objectives.

He urged workers to live up to expectation and be more dedicated to their duties for improved productivity.

In their separate speaches, Member 1 of the Commission, Hon. Azubuike Okoye, Member 11, Mr Uchenna Okafor and Member 1V,  Barr. Mrs Anthonia Tabansi Okoye  , said they came to transform the LG system and make it better than  the way they met it and warned workers to shun truancy , lateness and absenteeism to work and endeavour to adhere strictly to due process.

They also promised to ensure result oriented Unified Local Government system, adding as well that they came to promote the vision of the present administration in the State led by Mr Governor , Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo by contributing positively to giving solution to the challenges in the Local Government system and the State at large.

In a vote of thanks, the Secretary of the Board, Barr. Stan Nwattah, welcomed the new board members and pledged maximum support of the entire Staff of the Commission for the desired goal to be acheived.
