KSJI Commander 434, LAUX 363 Awka Visits Divine Mercy Home, Amawbia …Donates Items

In fulfillment of the Three Pillars of the Lenten Season – Fasting, Praying and Arms Giving, the executive members Of Commandery 434 & LAUX 363, Awka Knights Of St John International, led by Worthy and Respected President, Sir Raphael Nwike, recently donated some edible items to Divine Mercy Home, Amawbia.

The Items donated included, braid machines to visually impaired students of St Mary’s Secondary School, Ifite Dunu, in Dunukofia Local Government Area of Anambra State.

Presenting the items, Sir Nwike said the Commandery thought it wise to reach out to the destitute and downtrodden in society in line with one of its major aims of giving alms at all times.

He said that KSJI symbolized charity and that members would do that which they were known for.

Some of members who accompanied the Worthy President to the Children’s Home included Sir/Lady Vincent Otikpa; Sir Dr. Dennis Ekemezie; among others.
