KSJI Awka Grand Commandery Ladies Auxiliary Visit Bishop Ezeokafor

As part of the activities to mark the 2019 Mothers’ Day Celebration, the Grand Ladies Auxiliary of Ancient and Noble Order of Knights of Saint John International (KSJI), Awka Grand Commandery, on Tuesday, April 2, 2019, made a charity visit to the Catholic Bishop of Awka Diocese, Most Rev Paulinus Ezeokafor and his Episcopal household.

Speaking when he led the grand ladies on the visit at the Bishop’s Office, Diocesan Catholic Secretariat, St Patrick’s Cathedral, Awka, the Grand Respected President, Grand Ladies Auxiliary, KSJI, Awka Grand Commandery, Noble Lady Vera Ejiofor, said they were on the visit to share the joy of motherhood with the bishop and his household.

Noble Lady Ejiofor, who on behalf of the group, presented the countless gifts that ranged from foodstuffs and cash to the bishop, commended him for his fatherly love and good works in the diocese.

Receiving the grand ladies, Bishop Paulinus Ezeokafor, appreciated the grand ladies auxiliary of KSJI for their visit, their goodwill and the gifts, they donated.

The Catholic prelate, who gave the ladies warm reception, encouraged them to hold on their faith as soldiers of the Church, as well as shine out in exemplary lives for others. He conferred Episcopal blessings on the ladies.

Meanwhile, the ladies auxiliary, also paid a charity visit to the Chancellor of Awka Catholic Diocese, Rev. Fr. Francis Chidume, during which they presented him with gifts, in the spirit of Mothers’ Day Celebration.

The chancellor, who was joyous over the visit, commended the ladies for their goodwill, and prayed for God’s continuous blessings on them.
