It was a triple celebration as the member representing Njikoka II State Constituency in the Anambra State House of Assembly, Honourable Pete Ibida, commissioned three projects in his town, Nimo, in Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State

The projects were a mini market, water borehole and Egbengwu Primary Health Care Centre.

Fides reports that the event attracted the traditional ruler of the community, Igwe Maxi Oliobi; Anambra State Commissioner for Health, Dr Vincent Okpala; the running mate to Professor Chukwuma Soludo; Dr Onyeka Ibezim, as well as friends and well-wishers.

In his remarks, Igwe Oliobi, who appreciated Hon Ibida for his philanthropic services to the town, while calling on others to emulate and pray for him, also prayed God to replenish him and bless him with longevity.

Speaking, Hon Ibida explained that the reason for building the health centre was to provide for the health needs of his constituents, as well as their need for portable water.

He thanked Ndi Nimo for their support over the years and appealed to them to come out en masse this Saturday to vote for Professor Soludo/Ibezim candidacy, whom he described as a world class economist needed to take Anambra State to a greater height.

Also speaking, Commissioner Okpala, while revealing the various interventions of Governor Willie Obiano in the health sector, pleaded with Ndi Anambra to always go for regular medical check-ups at various health facilities in their domains.

In their separate comments, Dr Ibezim and his wife, Oluchukwu, who is from Nimo, appealed to people of the community to come out en mass on November Sixth and vote for APGA.

Lending his voice, the Vice President-General, Nimo Town Development Union, Mr. Uchenna Akpuoye, promised that Nimo Community would cast their votes one hundred percent for APGA.

The projects were commissioned by Igwe Oliobi; Dr Okpala and Dr Ibezim respectively.
