High Chief Godwin Okeke Okpalaeke (KSM, JP), the Onowu Azia, and Chairman, GINPAT Aluminum Product Limited, has been unanimously elected the President General of Anambra Traditional Prime Minister Association,(Ndi Onowu), Anambra State. This happened recently during their general meeting at the White Castle Hotel, Neni in Anaocha LGA, Anambra State.
Chief Sir Okpalaeke succeeds the late first President General, Onowu, Chief Sir Anthony Obiagbaoso Enukeme (Tonimas), of Neni who died a year ago. Onowu Okpalaeke is from Azia Town in Ebonesie Zone, Ihiala LGA. He is also the Chairman of Ebonesie Leaders of Thought, one time Vice President Azia Community and also member, caretaker committee, Onitsha LGA, 1983, as well as a good administrator of his community.
In his acceptance speech, Onowu Okpalaeke thanked the members of the Association for the confidence and trust reposed in him, and promised to rule with the fear of God. He further appealed for maximum cooperation and support in order to take the Association to greater heights.
