NYSC Anambra State Coordinator, Mrs Yetunde Baderinwa
Corps trainees under the NYSC Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development programme in Anambra State have been advised to have multiple streams of income.
The advice was given last Friday during the inter platoon SAED competition and exhibition held at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Unity NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp Umuawulu/Mbaukwu, Awka South LGA Anambra State.
In her closing remarks that State Coordinator NYSC, Mrs Yetunde Baderinwa, stressed that the reality of unemployment in Nigeria has made it pertinent for corps members and other individuals to acquire skills that would prevent over dependence on regular paying jobs so they can empower themselves and others economically.
She further encouraged them to take advantage of various sources of funding that have been put in place by the Federal Government for corps entrepreneurs, with little or no interest rate while assuring those who are determined of ease of accessing such funds.
