…As His 40 years Priestly Anniversary Attracts Philanthropists

Rev.Fr. Prof. Boniface Anthony Chijioke Obiefuna has extended love to the bedridden living in Awkaeze in celebration of his 40 Years Anniversary as a Catholic priest.
The event took place at St Michael’s Parish, Awkaeze, July 31, with the celebrant sharing sustainable items to some bedridden in the community.
Many of the beneficiaries who were about 90 in number were represented by family members, as well as caregivers who received gift items on their behalf alongside those who were able to come.
Fr. Obiefuna noted that his gesture to the bedridden was to show and make them feel loved and for them to believe there was still life, as such, could enable to quick recovery from sickness. This is even as he urged the caregivers to take care of the bedridden with love, promising to continue to pray for the sick.
Fr. Prof. Obiefuna’s 40 Years Priestly Anniversary Celebration has attracted favour to one Mrs. Amuche Agusionu from Umuideke Village, Akwaeze, who was spotted on live streaming footage by Ann Chukwube Amadi, who is based in Oceania. Mrs. Amuche’s sheer excitement was spotted during the Solemn Mass of Thanksgiving of Fr. Obiefuna, on July 2, 2023, streamed by Fides Media.
Ann Amadi, Fides gathered, decided and fulfilled the financial assistance needed for Mrs. Amuche to startup a business of her choice.
In her words of appreciation, Mrs. Agusionu thanked God for using Fr. Obiefuna to favour her and other beneficiaries.
Fr. Obiefuna thanked the former Commissioner of Women’s Affairs in Anambra State, Mrs. Victoria Chikelu, and others that supported in taking care of the bedridden in his community.
