…Urge Ndi Anambra To Support Governor’s Agric Revolution Agenda

Onyemaobi Augustine Nonyelum (Ancestor), have lauded Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s agricultural revolution in Anambra State, even as they asked Ndi Anambra to key into the Agenda.
Speaking separately during the flagg-off of this year’s Farming Season held at Dr Alex Ekwueme Square Awka, Dr. Onuorah who is the MD/CEO of Anchor Publishers, publishing company based in Anambra State stressed the need for all to embrace agriculture, emphasizing that it was the only true way to food sufficiency and availability.

The Council Boss while speaking on the Importance of agriculture called on Ndi Anambra to join hands with Governor Chukwuma Soludo in his onerous task of ensuring that poverty was reduced to the barest minimum through agriculture, assuring that the people of Anambra East Local Government Area had long embraced the Governor’s Agric revolution Agenda.
Corroborating Dr. Onuorah’s stance, the TC Chairman Anambra West, Mr Felix Ikechi enjoined Ndi Anambra to take agriculture both at subsistence basis and on a larger scale seriously, saying that the government alone cannot provide the needed quantity of food that would sufficient for every household, even as he urged them not to be discouraged by the challenges ocassioned by flooding and lack of bountiful harvest, adding that with consistency and patience they would reap the benefits of their steadfastness.

Mr Ikechi who is the number One Citizen of Anambra West Local Government Area, a council Area peopled by devoted farmers and agriculturists paid a glowing tribute to Governor Chukwuma Soludo for what he said the Governor was doing in agricultural sector, noting that with the way the state was moving agriculture wise there would be surplus in the nearest future.
‘We are here today to witness the flag-off of the 2023 Farming Season. It is a thing of joy to note that the Govenor is leading from the front in terms of using agriculture to fight poverty squarely as well as uplifting the people above abject perjury lines. We also thank the Governor Soludo for providing the enabling environment for the farmers in the state to thrive. We are really happy to be here today,’ Ikechi concluded.

For his part, the Transition Committee Chairman of Dunukofia Local Government Area,
Mr Onyemaobi Augustine Nonyelum (Ancestor) expressed delight with what Governor Soludo had done in the area of agriculture, stating that he was highly impressed with the results so far churned out in agricultural sector, describing it as encouraging and worthy of note.
According to the Council Chairman who is the Co-founder of Green Existentialist Ventures said he would take the Governor’s message of agricultural revolution Agenda down to his Local Government and have it fully implemented, noting that the era of waiting for manna to fall from the sky had long gone, even as he urged Ndi Anambra, especially the youths to identify and partake in Governor Soludo’s agricultural initiatives which he described as the in-thing.
‘In Dunkofia LGA, we are taking agriculture seriously. We are following strictly the Governor’s footsteps geared towards having food sufficiency and availability. This time to embrace agriculture is now,’Onyemaobi urged.
