The Advanced Congress of Democrats (ACD), has described Governor Willie Obiano’s scorecard for the past five year in office as eventful.
Anambra state chairman of the party , lady Kate Okafor told newsmen in Awka, that the state under the watch of the governor had recorded tremendous strides in virtually all the sectors of the economy.
She said within the past five years , the state had provided enabling environment for business to thrive, as the initiative continued to strengthen the states economy.
While describing the state as one of the fastest growing economies in the nation, she commended the governor for attracting foreign direct investment and partnership with donor agencies to speed development of the state.
‘As you can see, Governor Willie Obiano has performed well in the state. His administration has touched infrastructural needs of the state, Security, Youth empowerment, Agriculture, Education through his economic policies.
‘Let me make it clear that we have never had it so good in the state. I believe that the remaining three years will herald more democratic dividends for the state,’ Okafor added.
Commenting on the just concluded state Assembly poll in the state , she said the landslide victory recorded by the ruling party in the state showed that the governor was piloting the affairs of the state satisfactorily.
The ACD Boss noted that with the ruling party securing 24 out of the 30 state constituency seats, the governor had been positioned to consolidate on the gains made so far.
She called on Ndi Anambra to give him the needed support to enable him impact more on the lives of the people
