Hello everyone! Hope you’ve been enjoying your breakfast these past few weeks? I must confess it has really been a wonderful series for me. I enjoyed every episode, the preparations, the outcome and the mistakes made and the corrections taken.
But in all, anything that has a beginning, always has an end. And so, I am sad to announce to you that we have come to the end of our breakfast series. And because it’s the last week of our breakfast series, I bring to you my very own mouth watery dish: IRISH POTATO HOT POT.
These are the ingredients:
IRISH POTATO HOT POT RECIPEE
1 kilo of Irish Potatoes
1/2 kilo chicken
5 fresh peppers (blended)
2 big green peppers
3 medium size carrots
Salt to taste
Peel your Irish potato and wash very well. Then cut the potatoes in two, and let them remain in water to retain their colour. Next, you wash the carrots very well and then slice them in a circular form. Then wash your green pepper and dice them and set aside. Wash your chicken.
For this recipe I will be using chicken wings because I like the taste and the singular fact that it has bones
Now wash your pot and place it on low heat until is completely dry. Then add your butter, allow to melt and stir it so it reaches every part of the pot base. Then you add your chicken and spice it a little.
NB: NOW YOU HAVE TO BE VERY CAREFUL AND CALCULATING WHEN DOING THIS BECAUSE ANY SLIGHT MISTAKE YOU MAKE WITH THE SEASONING WILL DAMAGE THE TASTE OF YOUR FOOD.
At this point, you add bit, by bit the Irish potato, blended pepper, carrot, green pepper and seasoning. Keep doing this until the items finish from their bowl (DO NOT STIR AS YOU ADD THESE) Now allow to cook for 15-20mins. Then you stir your dish and check for the potato if it is will cooked. If not, leave it for another 3mins.
And our mouth-watering Irish Potato Hot Pot is ready to be served. This is the one dish you can prepare without water and you see water later.
Prepare this for your family and loved ones over the weekend and thank me later.
