It was a celebration of love, as Fides Cashier, former Miss Angel Chizube Ejiamah, in a well-attended wedding ceremony, on Saturday, December 28, 2019, tied nuptial knots with her heartthrob, Mr Paul Nwokolo, a lecturer at the Federal College of Education (Technical), Umunze.
The memorable wedding ceremony which was held at the Good Shepherd Chapel of Archbishop A.K. Obiefuna Retreat, Pastoral and Conference Centre, Okpuno, Awka South LGA, turned out to be one where ”Paul became Angelic, and Angel, Paupular”. It was a union that joined the Nwokolo Family of Utuh, Nnewi South LGA and Ejiamah Family of Uke, Idemili North LGA, both of Anambra State, as one.
Leading in the concelebrated Wedding Mass, a former Director of Fides Media Ltd, Very Rev Msgr Jerome Madueke, described marriage as a celebration of love, saying that love banished pain.
Msgr Madueke congratulated Paul and Angel for what he described as their demonstration of how to make a good family through the responsorial psalm they sang together. According to him, by distinguishing themselves as choristers, they had the first qualification to heaven, where, he said, the saints sang eternally. The Catholic priest urged them to strive for what he marriage, which, he said, would lead them to heaven.
In his homily, the Vice Principal (Academics), Tansi International College, Awka (TICA), Rev Fr Paschal Nnajiofor, called on the couple to uphold the tenets of happy marriage. He enjoined them to do their best to love, trust and complement each other, as well as pray together as a family and lay good foundation for their children, so as to enjoy happy married life.
Fides Media Family, through the Director, Rev Fr Martin Anusi, and the Deputy Director II, Rev Fr Cyril Ezeani, who received the couple’s consent, presented a papal blessing certificate to the couple.
