The National Chairman of All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Ozonkpu (Dr.) Victor Oye, joined men and women of goodwill to felicitate with fathers all over the country on the auspicious occasion of this year’s Fathers’ Day, describing them as pillars of the home.
In his goodwill message signed and made available to newsmen Oye said that fathers deserved to be accorded every respect they deserved because of the monumental contributions they had made to nation-building.
The APGA boss admonished mothers, children and wards to always pray and support fathers in their leadership role in the family.
According to him, fathers played pivotal role in the socialization function of the family in society, stating unequivocally that no nation would succeed without dedicated and caring fathers.
Ozonkpu Oye while eulogizing fathers, described APGA as a political party whose philosophy was tailored after according maximum respect and honour to fathers.
He called on fathers to remain faithful to their families, trust God and work harder to make life more meaningful to them and the people God had placed under their care.
